RIVER NC AND BALD RIVER FALLS (About 1 1/2 hours W)Stunningly beautiful river and amazing waterfall !!!! DIRECTIONS: Beginning of Cherohala Skyway in Tellico Plains, TN - make sure you take the route along the river, at the beginning of the Skyway (you have to detour toward right). Check at Information Center. From Hayesville, take 64 West to 19/74 South / West in Murphy, make a right on 294 (around Ranger), continue on 294 to 68 (shortly after Tennessee line), head North on 68 towards Farner / then Tellico Plains.  |
